Description	The "new" Sampit River Bridge, a swing span constructed in Georgetown in the late 1930's, is seen beside the old cable ferry pulling two Model T's across the river. Part of the Atlantic Coast Lumber Co. can be seen in the background. (Hand pulled ferry across Sampit River. New bridge evidently not operative at this time. Bridge for Hwy. 17 still crosses at this spot, though not the same one.)
