Description
A
portion
of the
800
block
of
Front
Street
,
looking
toward
the
south
(river)
side
. The
first
two
buildings
on the
left
comprised
the
Steele-Moses

Company
well
into the
20th
century
. The
seventh
building
was
occupied
by the
Standard
Opera
House
, on the
second
floor
, and
various
businesses
in the
three
first-floor
stores
. The

remind
us that the

always
such
a
big
part
of
life
. This
is
a
good
view
of the
sidewalks
extending
completely
across
the
street
.
